Malachi is a fourth-year Exercise Science student from High Point, North Carolina. He has concentrated most of his civic engagement effort toward youth development and the support of local, organic, regenerative agricultural operations. His heavy involvement as both a mentor and engagement manager with the on-campus organization College Mentors for Kids has been an effective catalyst for community leadership. He plans to further cement his legacy on the Charlotte community by partnering with the Levine Scholars Program, Levine Children’s Hospital, and an organic farm to host an event that teaches youth all about the importance of holistic farming practices. He hopes to continue connecting youth with enriching experiences that inspire steps toward a bright, sustainable tomorrow.
