Major: Computer Science and Data Science
Arnav is double majoring in computer science and data science, with a concentration in AI and a minor in statistics. He completed his nonprofit internship at Charlotte Works, providing AI and data solutions to Charlotte’s workforce development board, while also serving as a Data Science Intern at Trane Technologies. Through his civic engagement project, he created a sports analytics fellowship program for high school seniors interested in the intersection of data and sports. Arnav is a supercomputing research assistant on campus, focusing on the intersection of AI and systems, and Editor-in-Chief of ETHEL: Charlotte’s Undergraduate Research Journal, and has been recognized as a Goldwater Scholar and Barthalmus Award Winner. His international adventures include studying abroad at Tampere University in Finland and conducting research as a Fulbright MITACS Scholar at the University of Waterloo, Canada, in AI education. After graduation, Arnav hopes to pursue a doctorate in intelligent systems for scientific supercomputing.
