Arnav is pursuing a double major in Computer Science and Data Science, intending to focus his studies on machine learning and artificial intelligence. After serving as a research assistant in high school at the PICTure Research Group, he joined the Data Intelligence Research (DIR) Lab at UNC Charlotte and is currently exploring how ChatGPT can be used to analyze high-performance computing logs to improve performance. Throughout high school, Arnav devoted his time to promoting the intersection of technology and education, founding a computer science club that taught students of all experience levels basic programming fundamentals while hosting guest speakers to provide insight into the software engineering industry. He also co-founded Service Beakers, a nonprofit that provides interactive presentations to middle and elementary schools across the Research-Triangle area. He also spearheaded Service Beakers’s Honduras Project, which raised over $140,000 in technology donations for students abroad and in the local area. Arnav looks forward to continuing to grow his computer science skills and leveraging them to give back to the Charlotte and broader North Carolina community.
