Chandu graduated with a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in Biology. She is interested in improving healthcare access, mental health support and educational opportunities for diverse communities. Chandu interned at Care Ring, where she contributed to healthcare initiatives, and at Metropolitan General Hospital in Athens, Greece, shadowing doctors across various departments. Chandu was also involved in research: she worked as a Psychology and Biology Research Assistant, and presented findings at the National Conference of Undergraduate Research. Passionate about mental health and community engagement, Chandu held leadership roles in organizations like Health Occupations of America and Kids are Scientists Too. Chandu also volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and College Mentors for Kids. She aims to be a clinical pediatric neuropsychologist through pursuing a Psy.D. degree.
