Originally from Brevard, North Carolina, Jolene is a senior at UNC Charlotte majoring in Systems Engineering with a minor in mathematics. She has gained diverse industry experience through internships at Project Scientist, Catalent Pharma Solutions, and a comprehensive Co-op program at The Schaeffler Group. Driven by her passion for sustainable engineering, Jolene founded the “Global Engineering Brigades” club, focusing on improving water sustainability in underserved communities. She also actively engages in civic projects like the Student Gardens Renovations on campus. Beyond academics and civic work, Jolene serves as Secretary for the Society of Systems Engineers and plays an active role in the Levine Scholars Transition Team. Jolene’s academic achievements and commitment to ethical and innovative engineering reflect her dedication to making a positive impact in the Charlotte community.
