Major: Accounting and Finance
Nubia Terry is double majoring in Accounting and Finance with plans to pursue CPA licensure. She gained professional experience as a Corporate Audit Intern at Bank of America and through job shadows in nonprofit, corporate and governmental finance. On campus, Nubia has served as Vice President of the UNC Charlotte chapter of 100 Black Women and volunteers with the Jamil Niner Pantry. She is involved in the Playhouse Build Legacy Service Engagement Project in partnership with Habitat for Humanity and regularly volunteers with Feline Canine Fellowship Coalition. As a Levine Scholar, Nubia studied abroad in Santander, Spain, where she expanded her global perspective on professionalism, sustainability and community engagement. Through her academic, professional and service experiences, she hopes to combine her background in finance with her passion for service to make a meaningful impact in her career and community.
