Jasmine Oliver is a first year student from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is currently pursuing a Bachelors of Science and Earth and Environmental Sciences. She is interested in exploring the impact of food insecurity on the community of Charlotte. Her experience volunteering with the Jamal Pantry Community Garden and Pollinator Garden on campus have furthered her impact in Charlotte and on campus through the Levine Scholars Program. She plans to work with nonprofits focused on conservation and food insecurity around Charlotte to continue her experience and work towards a career in conservation.
