Natalie is a first-year student from Calera, Alabama. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Natalie is a member of the student organization Plants for People, which coordinates volunteering for the university’s community garden that grows produce for the Jamil Niner Student Pantry. Throughout her high school career, Natalie served her community by volunteering as a soccer referee and coach. She also volunteered at a youth summer camp where she worked on the high ropes course and rock climbing wall. Next year, she wants to add a minor in Outdoor Adventure Leadership. Natalie believes it is crucial for communities to have opportunities for everyone to lead healthy, active lifestyles. Over the next four years, she is very excited to learn more about opportunities to serve the Charlotte community in this way.
