Bryant De Luna-Peralta

Bryant De Luna-Peralta will graduate with a double major in Computer Science and Mathematics, and he’s also fast-tracking his way to a master’s degree. After graduating, Bryant hopes to further his education by pursing his PhD. Together with a professor, Bryant is researching ways to improve the Iteratively Reweighed Least Squares (IRLS) algorithm, making it a more effective and efficient machine learning algorithm. Bryant has also conducted research in Costa Rica, focusing on immigration and its overall correlation with many of the sustainability efforts within the country. Beyond academics, Bryant, along with another scholar, are working together to continue the Habitat for Humanity civic engagement project.
