Major: Psychology
Emree is majoring in Psychology, Spanish, Latin American Studies and Interdisciplinary Studies with a Concentration in Women’s and Gender Studies. Emree has always been passionate about advocating for mental health awareness. She is the President of the Psychology Student Coalition, UNC Charlotte’s psychology club. She is currently working on research in the realm of health advocacy campaigns and violence prevention alongside medical gaslighting and its effects on frustration with the medical system. She has spent time as a Victim Court Advocate with Safe Alliance accompanying and offering support to victims of Domestic Violence at their court appointments. She will be spending the academic year of 2026 to 2027 at Kingston University in London and Universidad de Catabria in Santander Spain. Emree plans to attend Graduate School and obtain her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in order to become a therapist. In her free time she enjoys painting, traveling, baking and spending time with her family and two dogs.
