Jairus Cook is a Mechanical Engineering major. On campus, he serves as President of the National Society of Black Engineers UNC Charlotte chapter and as a Niner Guide for Gage Undergraduate Admissions. His international experience includes a climate change program in Santander, Spain with a personal research focus on sustainability in manufacturing processes. Jairus interned with nVent as a Manufacturing Engineer, and he hopes to build a career within the Manufacturing Engineering space.
