Major: Public Health and Communication Studies

Joselyn is pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Public Health and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Communication Studies with a concentration in Health Communications, and a minor in Spanish. Throughout her high school career, she was involved in SkillsUSA, tutored students in her community and served as a volunteer translator at her local elementary school. Currently, she serves on the executive board for LSP. Joselyn hopes to continue pursuing different volunteer opportunities in the Charlotte area in order to continue her passion for service and use her abilities to serve the community.

Outside of academics, Joselyn hopes to be involved in Latinx organizations to stay connected with her Mexican heritage and continue to broaden her horizons by being involved in other organizations that match her interests. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her cohort, cooking and embroidering.
