Major: Public Health, Latin American Studies and Communication Studies
Joselyn Moreno is pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Public Health and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Communication Studies and Latin American Studies with a minor in History.
On campus, she works as a Program Assistant for Transition & Belonging. She is involved with the Levine Scholars Student Executive Board, Latinx Honor Society, Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science, and is a Spring 2026 Initiate of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority Inc.
For her nonprofit summer internship, she spent her summer with ourBRIDGE for KIDS and was able to learn more about the immigrant population in Charlotte. She hopes to continue learning more about the diversity of Charlotte, and cultures abroad.
