Kennedy is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a minor in Spanish with the hopes of going into Pediatrics. She has focused her civic engagement efforts towards the new Levine Nursing legacy project that established and maintains a support group for individuals with Metastatic Breast Cancer partnered with Charlotte nonprofit Carolina Breast Friends. She completed her nonprofit internship with the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Charlotte and continues to volunteer with them throughout the calendar year. Kennedy is the Co-President of Health Care Justice and the President of the Association of Nursing Students. She is starting her third year as an Undergraduate Research Assistant with the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Data Analytics. Kennedy completed a month-long study abroad experience with Levine in South Africa during the summer of 2023 studying Apartheid and HIV.
