Kennedy is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a minor in Spanish with the hopes of going into Pediatrics. She has focused her civic engagement efforts towards the new Levine Nursing legacy project that established and maintains a support group for individuals with Metastatic Breast Cancer partnered with Charlotte nonprofit Carolina Breast Friends. She completed her non-profit internship with the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Charlotte and continues to volunteer with them throughout the calendar year. Kennedy is the Co-President of Health Care Justice and the Pre-Nursing Representative for the Association of Nursing Students. She is starting her second year as an Undergraduate Research Assistant with the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Data Analytics. Kennedy completed a month-long study abroad experience with Levine in South Africa during the summer of 2023 studying Apartheid and HIV.
