Kyle Henson, of Mebane, NC, graduated in May 2018 with degrees in Economics and Mathematics.  Kyle will return to UNC Charlotte in Fall 2018 to finish a master’s degree in Economics, with plans to eventually pursue a doctorate in Economics.  He has accepted a job as a financial analyst with Pensford Financial in the meantime.  During his time as a Levine Scholar, Kyle held a non-profit internship with Carolinas Healthcare Foundation.  Kyle also held a Financial Services internship with TIAA.  He studied abroad at the University of Cantabria in Santander, Spain in the areas of Business, Banking, Finance, and Spanish.  “The Levine Scholars Program allowed me to find my passion in the field of Economics, while equipping me with the necessary tools and experiences to accomplish my dreams.”  Kyle was involved with various activities at UNC Charlotte, including the Business Honors Program, Pi Mu Epsilon Mathematics Honor Society, Omicron Delta Epsilon Economics Honor Society, and UNC Charlotte Greek Life.  “Being a 49er has given me the opportunity to form strong friendships, find strong faculty mentors, and accomplish more than I originally thought capable.”
