Lailaa is pursuing a Bachelor’s in Social Work with an interest in a career in a medical, pediatric and mental health sub-discipline. In the coming semesters, she plans to broaden her perspective on health through adding an additional major and minor. After undergrad, she plans to continue her post-graduate education and earn a Master’s in Social Work to broaden her impact with the clients she serves. Lailaa continues to gain experience working with nonprofits across education, health, wellness and social justice. Her goal is to expand her passion for psychology, ethics and community research during her years at UNC Charlotte.
