Major: Physics and Engineering
Lilly is a dual degree physics and engineering student with a focus on optics and a strong interest in research. She graduated high school with her Associate in Science through dual enrollment at Wake Technical Community College. Her leadership experience includes serving as co‑president of her Science Olympiad team, where she earned multiple statewide medals. Lilly also competed internationally in DECA and received a Girl Scout Gold Award with the North Carolina Jaycee Burn Center, strengthening her commitment to community service. At UNC Charlotte, Lilly hopes to engage in optics research, explore study abroad opportunities and support STEM outreach in the local community. Her long‑term goal is to become an optical engineer and help expand access to STEM education in the Charlotte area.
