Madison is enrolled in nursing school and pursuing a minor in psychology. She is a co-founder of an active metastatic breast cancer support program that provides therapeutic activities and experiences for individuals with MBC in the Charlotte community. Through the creation of this program, Madison and her team have been able to partner with a nonprofit organization, Carolina Breast Friends, and present their research findings at NCUR 2023. Additionally, Madison serves as the vice president of the 49er Running Club and an activity director for College Mentors for Kids Charlotte. Additionally, she has been a preceptor for UNC Charlotte for over 2 years. In the summer of 2023, she studied abroad in Seville, Spain and spent her time interning at a hospital to gain professional knowledge and deepen her cultural competence.
