Makayla is an active member of the UNC Charlotte Black Student Union and The Greater Good, a service organization dedicated to giving back to the greater Charlotte community. As a scholar on the Pre-Med track, she aspires to become a physician who not only provides quality care but also represents and advocates for the communities she serves. Passionate about mentorship and expanding access to opportunity, Makayla hopes to establish programs that support underprivileged teenagers by prioritizing higher education, career exploration and cultural immersion. Through service, leadership and medicine, she is committed to creating meaningful and lasting impact.
