Maya Kamen is a marketing major with a minor in communications and a strong interest in sports marketing, community engagement and philanthropy. She has professional experience through internships with the Mecklenburg Council, Scouting America and the UNC Charlotte Athletics Marketing department, where she supports fan engagement and brand activation efforts. Maya also serves as a Charlotte FC Brand Ambassador, helping enhance matchday and community experiences across the Carolinas. On campus, she is actively involved in student leadership, serving as Vice President of Hillel and Vice President of Sports Leadership Arts and Management (SLAM), and is a member of the American Marketing Association, Women in Business and Women in Sports. Her global perspective is shaped by study abroad experiences in Italy and South Korea, where she explored culture, communication and storytelling across different communities.
