Major: Public Health, Economics

Michelle is majoring in biology with a minor in public health. On campus, she serves as a Niner Guide, Klein College of Science Peer Mentor and co-lead for the annual Levine Scholars Program Art Gallery alongside Jasmine ’27 and Sabrina ’28. She is interested in the intersection between cultural inclusion, nutrition education, cultural anthropology and equitable food systems. During her nonprofit summer, she interned with The Bulb to divert food waste throughout Charlotte and continues to be an active volunteer. She was able to apply her experiences at The Bulb during the 2026 LSP Study Abroad Program in Stellenbosch, South Africa.

Beyond campus involvement, Michelle is also a Community Studies Coordinator for the East Coast Asian American Student Union (ECAASU), where she develops curriculums and workshops based on Asian American advocacy and history. She hopes to integrate her college experiences in civic engagement to become a public health-focused dietitian.
