Naami is pursuing a double major in Biology (B.S.) and Spanish (B.A.) alongside a minor in Chemistry with the aim of promoting wellness programs towards underrepresented groups in the Charlotte community. In partnership with organizations such as CleanAIRE NC, Global Medical Brigades, the American Heart Association and the Ronald McDonald House, her volunteer experiences highlight her dedication to approaching healthcare through holistic measures through community service ventures. In addition to her volunteer efforts, she is currently training as a research assistant in a nucleic acid nanotechnology lab and is in the Biology Honors Program. With this, she plans to develop biochemical research skills and advance current knowledge on nanotechnology with her honors project. Beyond medicine and volunteering, she enjoys reading, traveling, dancing, making pottery and baking.
