Ron is a finance major with a deep interest in the markets and how they correspond with society. Ron is a member of the Business Honors Program and volunteers with Habitat for Humanity to help with access to affordable housing. The scholar is involved with the Investment Club on campus, gaining both professional and financial literacy skills. In the club, Ron analyzes various stock picks using both fundamental and technical analysis to learn how to make better financial decisions. Ron plans on studying abroad in either Spain or Sweden to explore international business practices and develop his language-learning skills. Ron’s goals for the future include pursuing a sustainable approach to finance that positively impacts economic, social and environmental outcomes.
