Shreyas Raychaudhuri is a pre-medical student pursuing a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry alongside a minor in Statistics. Shreyas hopes to continue a career in Neuroscience as a Neurosurgeon. Throughout his high school career, Shreyas has organized multiple community events and charities through Seva International, Raleigh Rescue Mission and more. Additionally, he was part of Alzheimer’s research at UNCW and NCCU. In his time at UNC Charlotte, he has delved deeply into the STEM field and strives to understand the connection between science and the Charlotte community. Shreyas is an undergraduate researcher with Dr. Ge and the Ge lab, where he is conducting research on copper and metals within cells. Furthermore, he works with Metrolina Nephrology Associates to help diagnose patients with chronic kidney disease and has volunteered in many community based organizations, including Habitat for Humanity and CLT Tree Service.
