Shreyas Raychaudhuri is a pre-medical student at UNC Charlotte pursuing a in B.S in Biology and Chemistry with a minor in Statistics. His academic and professional interests center on biomedical research, cardiovascular health and a future career in medical school. Through research experiences at UNC Charlotte and Stanford University School of Medicine, he has explored molecular mechanisms related to brain tumors and cardiovascular disease. His interest in healthcare has also been shaped by clinical experiences in Athens, Greece and his work as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Beyond academics, Shreyas is committed to service, leadership and civic engagement. After interning with Care Ring, he developed a civic engagement initiative in partnership with the organization to support health education in the Charlotte community. He is also involved in Heart2Heart and Habitat Playhouse Build alongside fellow Levine Scholars. Through service, research and leadership, Shreyas seeks to create lasting community impact while pursuing medicine.
