Sylvia Sriniwass

Hometown: Huntersville, NC

Sylvia graduated with a double major in Finance and International Business and a minor in Italian. During her time at UNC Charlotte, Sylvia enjoyed her involvement with the Business Honors Program, giving tours as a Niner Guide, working at Niner Finances, serving as President of First Generation Investors and playing club tennis. Her civic engagement project promotes equitable access to financial literacy and college preparatory resources for high school students via workshops hosted at the public library. She also volunteers regularly through Ronald McDonald House, Second Harvest Food Bank, and Habitat for Humanity. One of her favorite LSP experiences was Alternative Spring Break with Habitat.

Sylvia spent a semester studying abroad in Verona, Italy, during which she nurtured her love of learning new languages and experienced the joys of living abroad. She has completed three summer internships: Mission Delivery Intern at Make-A-Wish, Financial Forecasting and Analysis Intern at Duke Energy, and Advisory Intern at KPMG Philadelphia. After graduating, she will join TIAA as a Rotational Analyst in the Wealth Management & Retirement Solutions program out of the Dallas, Texas office.
