Sylvia Sriniwass

Hometown: Huntersville, NC

Sylvia is a senior double-majoring in Finance and International Business with a minor in Italian. She enjoys being an active participant on UNC Charlotte’s campus through her involvement with the Business Honors Program, giving tours as a Niner Guide, working at Niner Finances and playing club sports. Sylvia has focused her civic engagement efforts on promoting equitable access to financial literacy and college preparatory resources for high school students in the Charlotte area by partnering with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg library to conduct workshops. Sylvia spent a semester studying abroad in Verona, Italy, during which she nurtured her love of learning new languages and experienced the joys of living abroad. She completed a nonprofit internship at Make-A-Wish and worked as a Financial Forecasting and Analysis Intern with Duke Energy and an Advisory Intern with KPMG. One of her favorite LSP experiences was building houses with Habitat on Alternative Spring Break.
