Tori is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology, a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a minor in Earth and Environmental Science. Tori is focusing her civic engagement efforts toward climate education, activism and youth empowerment in the Historic West End of Charlotte through her project “Canvas For Our Climate.” Her experience working with environmentally focused nonprofit organizations, such as CleanAIRE NC and the Charlotte Youth Climate Coalition, has furthered her volunteerism and impact across the community under the guidance of the Levine Scholars Program. Combining her passion for science and sustainability with her effective communication skills, Tori strives to facilitate understanding and cooperation among scientists and the Charlotte community to promote a healthier community and environment for all.
